Splitgate 2 has officially launched version 1.0 today, and along with it came a major surprise. At Summer Game Fest 2025, it was revealed that Splitgate 2 is launching with a surprise battle royale mode with 60-player matches to take on Apex Legends and Warzone. It has portal-based gameplay with Titanfall-like movement and Halo-like gunplay.

A report from Variety suggests that the Warner Bros. Games already working on Hogwarts Legacy 2 and it is 'very big priority' for them. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment President David Haddad says that the upcoming sequel will be based on the HBO Harry Potter series which is coming in 2026. The report also claims that Hogwarts Legacy is now the top-selling game of 2023 and has crossed 30 million units sold as of last month.
